Today is quite balmy out. I woke to temperatures in the high 20's. It was noticeable when I went to take Crystal to work. We did have some snow last night. The roads were a bit slick on our way home from Liv's lesson. Liv had another great lesson last night. Liv rode Blueberry and worked on her flying lead changes. It was nice and really fun to watch. I was also helping Will finish up with stalls. Liv then rode Nick with some other of the young ladies for the second part of her lesson. I was blown away by Nick's progress in jumping. Nick is now jumping 3 feet with ease and really loving it. Liv only does her jumping during lessons as not to over jump Nick. Over jumping could cause the horse issues. Soundness and Nick's health are always our main concern. The safety and welfare of both horse and rider are always something to consider.
I don't use this forum to address issues but I will at this point. As you have noticed I don't use friend's names or other personal information. I try and respect the privacy of others. Face book is something that the entire family uses on a daily basis. I only allow my "friends" to read my posts. I have found that Face Book has allowed me to keep in contact with family and friends that I don't get to see and those I do get to see. I am not sure of Liv's settings. Liv posted something that was taken out of context. Again, no names were mentioned. It was then passed on and so on. I find this really unnecessary. It had nothing to do with what was "assumed". This is exactly why we don't mention names or other information. So I ask that we all not assume that something might pertain to us when it actually doesn't.
We have heard that one of our former horses has a new home. We wish the horse and the new owner the best of luck. It's always a new adventure to get a new horse.
