Yesterday we went on our weekly shopping trip to Scranton. I was super excited to get a new area rug for our kitchen. It is a 5 X 8 rug for only $7.00. What a steal. Heck, the rug is just used by the dogs for sleeping anyway. Olivia also got a new comforter for her bed. Her old comforter is many years old. Mollie has a very pretty quilt on her bed and didn’t need a new one. My mom joined us as did Harley and Noah. The boys are just so tired of being in the house all the time. They can’t wait for some warmer weather.
I know I always mention how blessed I am with my children but I have to mention it again. For years I have been wanting to get a Dyson vacuum. They are quite expensive and never felt that I wanted to spend the money on one. QVC offered one at the end of January. So, Will and John bought me one. It arrived yesterday. I was so excited to get it out of the box and try it. I am very impressed with it so far. The biggest selling point for me was the fact that it doesn’t have any belts. It’s easy to operate and maneuver around the house. So, it’s a keeper. Thank you Will and John!
In the beginning of the week my sister, Melissa, called and told me she enrolled in college. I am so excited for her. She wants to get her degree in accounting. It’s a tough job market right now. She felt she needed to change her job goals and this is the way to start. Best of luck Melissa!
