The end of another weekend.  Today we moved a friend's horse for her.  She was moving from a training barn to a dressage barn.  We had a hectic morning but arrived on time to pick up my friend's horse.  Monte, my friend's horse, wasn't in the mood to get on the trailer today.  I have hauled him before but today wasn't his day.  He eventually did get on and was a good boy for the trailer ride.  The new barn is so nice and clean and has large turnouts for the horses.  The stalls are really big and have such nice bedding.  The turnouts are about 3 acres and only three horses turned out together.  Monte is not used to that so he will surely enjoy that.  He is used to a small stall and a 30 X 30 turnout with three other horses.  Not really the ideal situation.  I'm sure my friend will be much happier with the professional people she is with now.  

We then came home and Crystal was already cooking us a wonderful dinner.  John had to leave early this evening for Ohio.  We enjoyed our time together but can't wait for next weekend for him to come home.  I'm hoping that we get some warmer temperatures soon too.
