For several months I have been wanting to get a new, small digital recorder.  I thought it would come in handy for impromptu events and fun stuff.  I finally made a decision on which one I wanted to purchase.  Wednesday I got the Flip Ultra HD.  It is super easy to operate and take videos with.  I have not had a chance to do any outside shooting but did do a test video of our kitten playing.  I'll post it here.  It has a rechargeable battery and built in 8GB of memory.  That is about 120 minutes of footage.  Not too bad for something you want to use on the fly.  The only down side is the slide out USB for charging and uploading videos to your computer.  I am using a USB extension cord and would recommend that for easier use.
