It was a very busy weekend. Sunday was the Dessin Animal Shelter benefit show. It was heavily attended. Olivia and Nick competed in the Schooling Hunter division. They also did the Hunter Classic. Their first round was not their best. Olivia has a lot on her mind and was distracted. Their second round was wonderful. They scored a 77 for the classic. Their flat division was so nice. Nick is getting so much better on the flat. They only pinned a sixth in the second jumping round but we were very proud of them. We always are. John was a great trooper and stayed the entire time. It was very hot but he wanted to be there for Olivia. As an added surprise Olivia won the raffle for the large English basket. How exciting for her!
Today John and I went for John’s pre-surgery testing today. Since he had a chest x-ray less than a month ago he didn’t have to do that again. He only needed some blood work and an EKG. We then had a doctor appointment with his family doctor. That went well and uneventful.
