There has been many discussions about the the jobs that the large gas companies are bringing to our state of PA and around the country. But at what price? Sure, the money is nice and we can all use it. But what happens years down the road when the gas companies are done with our land? What are we left with? Land that is no unusable? No drinking well on the land that human or animal can drink from? Do the gas companies tell you what will happen to your land before signing the contract with them? Please before anyone signs a contract to lease your land to gas companies do some research.
A great documentary that I found very informative was “Gasland”. It was featured on HBO. Take the time to watch it.
