This past weekend was sure busy. We spent all day Saturday on the road. We went to Massachusetts to pick up Maui. We got a late start because John got held up at work. When we arrived Maui was ready to be loaded. Maui is used to a ramp load trailer and our trailer is a step-up. So after some work Olivia got her loaded. We were then on our way home. We arrived at the barn and then got Maui settled in her stall. She was an angle on the ride home. Olivia and I headed to the barn early the next morning for Olivia's lesson. Katie gave Maui the once over and then did some lunging with Maui. Olivia then tacked up and rode Maui outside for her lesson. I have to point out that it was windy and cold out yesterday morning. Maui was a doll. She rode like she has been in the ring everyday. Olivia was super pleased.
Our farrier was at the barn yesterday as well. Nick had his feet done. He wasn't in the mood yesterday but was still a good boy.
While John, Olivia, Oliver and myself were gone on Saturday the younger kids were awesome at home. Mollie, Noah and Harley were well behaved and even cleaned up around the house for me. Mollie and Noah love using my Dyson vacuum and put it to good use while I was gone. I am super proud of them!
My mom had been doing so well. But now she is experiencing the same issue with her feet again. Her feet are just breaking open again. So tomorrow we head to her family doctor and then Wednesday back to the podiatrist.
