I see the sun!

What a beautiful Saturday.  The sun is out and it's warmer than it's been.  The past week has been rough with my mother and her feet.  We have been to several doctor visits.  My mother also has a pressure point wound on her lower back.  I have to say that my mom and I have kept our sense of humor and have been doing well dealing with it all.  We are now having a nurse come out every other day to change the dressings on her feet.  We were all pleasantly surprised at how well her feet looked today.  So things are looking better for her.

We have my niece's baby shower tomorrow and my mom won't be able to travel for the event.  The nurse felt the time in the car and then sitting for hours was not a good option.  It would just aggravate her pressure wound.  So, it will just be me, the girls, Will and Crystal tomorrow.  John was hoping to get home so he could have gone to visit his mom during the shower.  But now John has to be in Maine by six Monday morning.  You can never make plans with a truck driver. 

So, Liv and I are off to the barn now.  Liv is going to ride today since we won't be able to go over tomorrow.  I hope that everyone has a great day.
