What I thought was going to be an ordinary day turned out not to be. My mother came up to tell me she was not feeling well. She was shaking all over and in pain. I made an appointment at her doctor's office for the early afternoon. They felt she was very ill and they called the ambulance for her from the doctor's office. I then spent the next several hours in the ER waiting room. Let me tell you that is quite the experience. The waiting room was packed with coughing patients. I was none too pleased to be sitting there with all those germs floating around in the air. There beds were full at the hospital as well. So after getting to see my mom they decided to keep her. It seems she has a severe UTI again. It was the best for her. Hopefully it won't be long till she is feeling better and home again.
While I attended to my mother Will took Liv over to the barn and then picked her up for me. I was so grateful that he was able to do that. Our friends, Lori and Nicole, were over at the barn as well and that made me feel better that Liv had some company. Liv rode Blueberry and Nick and had a great time. Till I got home I was exhausted. My Mollie had dinner made. The children always come through in a pinch. We are now getting ready to head to the barn for Liv's lesson and then home. The weather has turned cold again. "sigh" I did enjoy that warmer temperature yesterday. But it is still January and we have more cold and snow to get through.
