This week we certainly had a taste of winter. We got snow followed by frigid temperatures. Today we are having some freezing rain. Christmas will be here in 12 days. It is hard to believe that another year will be gone. I have been doing some thinking about Christmas and what it truly has become. We as a society are so over commercial. Christmas seems to have lost the true meaning. It's not about what we are getting. It's about spending time with our loved ones and enjoying it. It's about seeing someone's smile and being happy to share it. It sounds so simply but in today's world it's not. Everyone is moving faster and it's hard to remember to slow down.
