It looks like another decent weather day is in the cards for us.  Because of the mild weather our barn owner has been working on improvements.  Noah enjoys the welcome attitude and enjoys helping out with chores too.  He is still a little shy but that is going away fast.  Olivia and I enjoy helping out when we are there as well.  The positive attitude and friendly environment make barn life so much easier and enjoyable. I have been most impressed with Nick's attitude.  He is so happy and relaxed.  I thought he was before.  I am so proud of Liv with all the work she has been doing on herself and Nick.  Under the right guidance anything can be accomplished. Once you realize that you only have to please yourself the rest is easy.  One thing I have tried to instill in my children is that you only have yourself to make happy.  You don't do things in life to please others. That would be empty and not something I want for them.  Throughout your life you encounter many different people and circumstances.  It's what you do with those events that makes you a stronger person.  You take the good and leave the bad behind you.  Don't get me wrong, sometimes we take a little longer to realize these things.  That is not a bad thing but a lesson learned.  I have been through many trials in my life and have really come out happier because I let the situation empower me.  It's not easy and it sure does take time.  It's also so much easier to be happy in life.  Who wants to be sad and carry that around with them?  Not me.  Everyday life can be difficult but taking it one day at a time can be so much more rewarding.  Instead of looking at a year at a time, why not a week or a day.  It's a much lighter load.  Gee, I totally went off topic there.  Oh, well, it's good to ramble and then read what you wrote.  I guess the bottom line is be happy and enjoy what we have.  It's not always easy but do it!
